Information bar
The information bar is located in the lower right part of the NDunes interface:
It brings the following information:
- The update completion wheel: When turning, this wheel indicates that the scene being displayed is still being refined by NDunes, so the display is not final yet. Once this refinement process is over, the wheel stops turning. The scene is finalized then.
- A FPS counter: The number of Frames Per Second displayed by NDunes. See Performances for details.
- The current image size: This is the pixel size of the main viewport rendering window on screen.
- The simulation time scale: This is the speed at which time flows. Note that using the The sun tool freezes time.
- Altitude: Two values here: the altitude above the sea level and the altitude above the ground.
- Coordinates: These are GPS coordinates (low accuracy) to be able to position ourself on the planet.
- Compass: A small arrow indicating the north direction from the sight direction of the viewport.
