Geometries overview
We name geometry all the meshes that may be imported and displayed in NDunes. The geometry is generally a house or any kind of building. Outdoor as well as indoor may be viewed in NDunes.

An example of geometry
Geometry properties are multiple:
- the source graph is flattened and the materials are optimized;
- it is placed on the landscape at a given position on the planet;
- multiple instances may be dropped;
- it can have its own high resolution shadow maps;
- global illumination data can be computed (see Adding global illumination);
- it can sculpt the terrain where it is placed (see Decal linked to the geometry);
- it can display reflections with the help of probes (see Adding reflections);
- its multiple materials are fully customizable (see Materials overview);
- it can hold lights (see Lights overview);
- it can be animated (see Animating a geometry).
