Migrating from v 1.0.6 to v 1.1.0.
Since scenes are now geo-referenced all over earth, some changes are to be taken into consideration when using this new version with projects generated using 1.0.6 or earlier versions:
- Existing scenes can still be opened. They do not change. They're not at the right position on earth, but they work "as is". Cities can be recalculated, they won't move. Decals, waterbodies and all objects can be manipulated as usual. The only difference is that before version 1.1 they were not generated at their real GPS coordinates.
- It's however not possible to regenerate scenes from existing blueprints before version 1.1. On regenerating the scene from the old blueprint, it'll be automatically relocated to the real GPS coordinates of the project, so changes that were made (for instance adding objects to the scene, defining cameras,...) won't follow and remain at the original position before version 1.1.
- Furthermore, the selection of ASC files is no longer available from the blueprint. ASC files are now integrated into the atlas document. Also, it's worth noting that many atlases are directly available from the store (for instance all departments of France), saving a lot of time in the setup of the landscape for new projects.
