The archive contains a fully setup geometry: full modelling, textures and materials and a complex dynamic global illumination cache. It has been used to render the movie below:

The house is a "naked" geometry designed to have complex lighting interactions and ilustrate NDunes dynamic global illumination caches.

Using the actual geometry GI cache parameters to compute a cache will take a few minutes only. These are slightly enhanced default GI cache values, chosen to offer a good quality / calculation performance balance:

Using these parameters, the GI cache will, depending on the sun position show some GI artifacts such as light leaks at corners or some sample smoothing "bubbles". Light leaks may be fixed by increasing the estimator sampling rate, smoothing issues may be solved by increasing the cache smoothness and quality of cache samples by increasing the hemispherical sampling rate used to calculate them. Of course each increased value will increase the calculation time should increase the quality accordingly.

High quality GI cache parameters that have been used for the high quality GI cache provided with the model are listed below:

A GI cache setup with these parameters takes several hours to be processed on a high end computer.
