Biome density multipliers
Among the biome parameters is a "Density" tab that contains extra density multipliers held by biomes specifically.
The main purpose of these multipliers is to allow a specific biome to override a terrain's density because the plants it contains should use another type of density values. For instance a desert biome that is using cactii in the trees category may need to spread fewer cactii than equivalent trees if the same terrain is used for different weather conditions.
Density related parameters are listed below:
- The initial density comes from Soils.
- Terrains combine densities and have their own density multipliers.
- Biomes own density multipliers too applied to the incoming terrain density values.
- Plants in biomes can use low weights to reduce densities.
- Global density Settings can also control the resulting densities used.
